  • Screwiness with Twitter

Something goofy is happening with the Javascript code from twitter.com that plops my Twitter feed in the sidebar: it's prompting visitors to enter a username and password for Twitter's servers. If that happens, just click Cancel on the dialog box. If the problem persists, I'll delete my Twitter feed from the front page. Thanks for your ...

  • Site upgrade

I've applied a service pack to the platform running this site, and I've made some other (hopefully invisible) tweaks to the code behind it. For most feed readers and aggregators, the old feeds should automatically forward to the new one; I ...

XM radio has been experiencing problems nation-wide since about noon today. Mine was fine on the drive to work this morning, but on the commute home this evening, I experienced the same spotty reception reported here and here. This report says it's due to a software upgrade. Normally, I experience no dead spots between home and work, but the ...

Terms of service: I intend for this site to be as open, flexible, and free-wheeling as possible; however, I reserve the right to delete any comments I feel are inappropriate.
