Palin's abuse of power
To no one's surprise, Sarah Palin abused her power as governor of Alaska:
An Alaska ethics inquiry found on Friday that Gov. Sarah Palin, the U.S. Republican vice presidential candidate, abused her authority by pressuring subordinates to fire a state trooper involved in a feud with her family.
After enduring eight years of the Bush mafia's abuse of office and violation of the Constitution, it should be abundantly clear by now that the last thing we need in the White House is yet another junta of criminals willing and eager to abuse their positions to settle petty personal vendettas.
Sarah Palin is just about the last person we ought to have in the line of succession to the Presidency, and McCain should be disqualified for his breathtaking lack of judgment in choosing her to be his running mate and campaign prop.
