Boeing's sexy new Dreamliner 787
The Boeing 787 Dreamliner is as fast as a jumbo jet, half the size of the Airbus 380, and 20% more fuel efficient. It's also selling like hotcakes:
So far, 47 airlines -- including Continental Airlines Inc., Air Canada, Qantas Airways Ltd., Air India and Singapore Airlines Ltd. -- have signed up for 684 planes.
Those are amazing sales numbers for a plane that hasn't even flown commercially yet.
It can fly 9,800 miles, its windows are 60% bigger, the interior air is at a significantly higher pressure (which will reduce passenger fatigue in a big way), and it's sexy looking (image blatantly ripped off from HuffPo):

I doubt many carriers would employ the 787 for trans-Atlantic flights, since its capacity will only be 200-300 passengers, but it sure would make cross-country flights more bearable.
And no, that picture isn't coach; it's first class. Coach will still suck, but marginally less so, since the seats are a whopping half inch wider, and there's a tad more leg room due to thinner seat backs.
