Eight random facts about me
I've been tagged again, this time by the venerable Archcrone. Here goes:
1. All right, here are the rules.
2. We have to post these rules before we give you the facts.
3. Players start with eight random facts/habits about themselves.
4. People who are tagged need to write their own blog about their eight things and post these rules.
5. At the end of your blog, you need to choose eight people to get tagged and list their names. Don’t forget to leave them a comment telling them they’re tagged, and to read your blog.
These eight random facts are in no particular order and are not necessarily definitive. They're just eight random things selected after close consultation with my friend Samuel Adams:
- I love to travel. I've been to Europe a bunch of times, but I've never been to South America or Vermont or the Caribbean or Oregon. I want to visit South Africa and Egypt and Brazil and Australia, but not in the same trip. All the travel photos I've taken since I first got a digital camera are here. None of my pre-digital photos are online.
- I've seen Silence Of The Lambs, Beetlejuice, Thelma And Louise, and Young Frankenstein about twenty times each, but my favorite movie of all time is Dangerous Liaisons. Or maybe The Lion In Winter.
- I stopped watching television about five years ago. Except to watch movies on DVD, my TV hasn't been turned on since 2002. I don't think I've missed anything.
- Unlike a lot of people, I really like my job.
- My favorite musicians of all time are Prince, George Clinton, and Meshell Ndegeocello. I'm a rabid Prince fan and semi-rabid about George and Meshell.
- I'm a not-too-sucky pool player, but my game is inconsistent.
- I love gadgets.
- My brain is a trivia magnet, but only about certain things. My mother tells me I have a head full of useless information. I can name all the monarchs of England since Alfred the Great (and in order!), but I can't name all the US Presidents in order. I need to work on that.
My tag victims:
Joe Powell
Michael Silence
Jack Lail
Sharon Cobb
Bizgrrl
WhitesCreek
OK, so that's only six people, not eight.
