Seven photos of Old Gray Cemetery

I had such high ambitions for today.

The weather's gorgeous, so I thought I'd go shoot some photos of Old Gray Cemetery here in Knoxville. I loaded up all my photo equipment, extra batteries, extra memory cards, and my trusty external battery pack. I hopped in the car, opened the sunroof, cranked up XM, and hit the road.

The battery life on my camera's factory battery is woefully short. Although I have two spare internal batteries, I never use them; I always use the external pack instead, since it'll power the camera for days on end. For that reason, the internal battery is usually drained to zero power, since I always forget to recharge it.

After shooting a grand total of seven photos, my trusty battery pack failed. The spare internal batteries were, of course, at zero charge, so the entire expedition was pretty much shot.

The seven I did manage to shoot are here.

Oh, well.
