I'm interested in all sorts of things, including politics, architecture, photography, and about seven million other subjects. This is not a single-issue blog, since I'm not a single-issue person. I'll blog about whatever strikes my fancy at the moment.
I don't care how much traffic I get. I'll post on whatever random things I find interesting.
Except for a six-year interlude from 1988 to 1994, I've lived in Knoxville, TN my entire life. My roots are here, my family and friends are here, and that makes it my home. I'll blog about Knoxville occasionally, but those kinds of posts will only make sense to people familiar with this odd city.
I've worked in IT for many years, but I'll try to keep the techno-geek blogging to a minimum.
Periodically, I'll pull a random photo from my archives (usually related to travel) and blog about what it depicts. I have thousands of photos, so that should keep me busy for a while.

To combat message spam, I've disabled anonymous comments; you have to register in order to comment on posts, but I won't reveal, sell, or otherwise misuse your personal information (unless I have to report it to an ISP or law enforcement). Privacy is important to me, and as long as you abide by the terms of service, I'll respect yours.
